Jessica's Suitcase is a cross-border ecommerce business, connecting premium Australian brands with China's online shopping community through Alibaba's TMall Global platform. After living in Beijing for several years and raising her first child there, founder Jessica Rudd (and current Alibaba Ambassador) realised there was huge interest from Chinese friends for the products she was bringing back from Australia in her suitcase. Naturally entrepreneurial, she asked herself: why should Chinese consumers be missing out on all the wonderful, safe and innovative products that Australia had to offer? The answer was they shouldn't - and hence Jessica's Suitcase was born.
