Our founder, Jessa, infuses her deep empathy and personal journey into every design. Inspired by her own childhood and the struggles of her beloved plus-size grandmother, JessaKae celebrates inclusivity and representation. JessaKae was born from Jessa's desire to provide what she missed as a little girl: the magic and dreams every girl deserves. We are here to support you through every moment, helping you break free and feel the true essence of life. JessaKae began in a basement in Draper, Utah, in 2016, built from equal parts creativity, determination, and a dream to bring something magical to the world. Those early days were unforgettable—folding dresses on the couch, stacking boxes to the ceiling, and hauling massive USPS mail bags to the post office daily, often in a tiny FIAT. It was a lot of hard work, but it was also a lot of fun. As operations grew, so did the need for space. The business quickly expanded into the kitchen, where dining tables were replaced with warehouse shelving. The space was affectionately dubbed “Jessa’s sweatshop,” as it wasn’t uncommon to open the front door and find a small army of friends and family folding dresses and fulfilling orders. Before long, every inch of the home was dedicated to JessaKae, and it was clear it was time to move into a real warehouse (a moment that felt nothing short of divine intervention). Today, JessaKae has grown into a globally recognized brand with a loyal following of over 3.2 million on social media. The brand has been featured in numerous publications and platforms, earning awards for its commitment to inclusivity, creativity, and customer satisfaction. While the brand has come a long way since those early days, the memories of the basement hustle remain a foundational part of its journey.
