Bosnia and Herzegovina, formerly a part of Yugoslavia, is experiencing ongoing economic hardship. After years of civil war and the destruction of infrastructure, BiH needs a light. The people of BiH feel forgotten, and the country is ranked the 7th poorest in Europe. The future is in the hands of the youth; they offer new perspectives, innovation, and a heart to move beyond the divisions of generations before them. Their potential drives our mission. WE BELIEVE THE ONLY WAY TO CREATE LASTING CHANGE IS TO EMPOWER THE NEXT GENERATION OF CHANGE AGENTS. Our programs are created by the people for the people, constantly evolving to meet the changing needs of youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Many organizations work to meet a single need, like drilling a well or building a school. Rather than give handouts, we’ve designed our programs to empower marginalized youth in BiH. Our goal is to equip a generation with the education, leadership skills, and development tools to create a sustainable impact.
