Jensen Insight Information

Hi - I'm Todd Jensen and after a 26 year career working with and for some really great people, I decided to start my own business - Jensen Insight. Keep scrolling and you'll see my professional background below. I'm originally from Idaho (insert potato joke here). My father was a Vietnam veteran serving in the Army's First Air Calvary Division - a jump-from-a-helicopter-while-people-shoot-at-you type of soldier. He was wounded trying to administer medical help to a member of his company. Returning home he worked as a welder and foreman for the Union Pacific Railroad, then as a truck driver in the logging industry, and eventually as an owner/operator truck driver. My mother is from a coal mining family in Kentucky, that moved out west. She's worked as a waitress and in-home health care worker. I still miss some of the wonderful things she could cook, and I like to make her laugh. I grew up all over the Western U.S., living and working in a blue collar world. As a young 19 year old, I lived and worked in Western Canada as a teacher for my church. It was a wonderful 2 years of meeting all kinds of families from different walks of life and origin countries. Since then, I've visited 29 different countries (many of them frequently) and I remain passionate about understanding the world and it's people. My wife and I just celebrated our 28th anniversary and while I had some schooling before living in Canada, all of my formal education since then has been at night or on weekends as I have worked and we've raised our family. I studied business and then economics at Westminster College. Now ... I'm pleased to make a short introduction to my family! Kirsten is currently in graduate school training to become a veterinarian. She likes Batman, is passionate about rescuing dogs, and lives her life with a deliberate, relentless march towards her goals.
