AVC Industries Pvt Limited is a leading private cooking oil manufacturing Company in Malawi. Established in 2019, the Company has a magnificent state-of-the-art factory located in Msundwe along the Mchinji Road. AVC Industries Pvt. Limited is a Joint Venture Green Field Project between Export Trading Group and Parrogate Group of Companies. The Company plans to establish a state of art technology SEP (Oil Seed Crushing Plant and Oil Refinery) to extract oil from oil seeds such as soybeans to produce edible oil and soymeal. These products will be sold within Malawi and exported into neighbouring countries like South Africa, Kenya and Rwanda. The project is deemed for creating value addition across entire value chain starting from procurement of soybeans from small scale farmers to final products and their distribution to the end user. The magnificent infrastructure with modern art technology, built on the highest International Standards, has established itself as a top-class manufacturer of cooking oil locally and in the region. AVC Industries Pvt Limited extracts and refines oil from locally grown oil seeds especially soybeans. The factory was established in solidarity to the Malawi Government's priority of promoting value addition and agro-processing as part of the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy II (MGDS-II). AVC Industries Pvt Limited has given Priority Industry status as the factory aims to reduce import of crude oil in the country by 45% in the coming 5 years. In addition, it is also in harmony with National Export Strategy (NES) under oil seed products cluster (cake export and cooking oil exports). The company registers tremendous growth annually through innovative business models and management’s prudent approach to managing risks.
