JFS is an inclusive, modern orthodox Jewish school, rooted in nearly three centuries of history and guided by our school motto, ‘Orah Viykar’ - ‘Light and Honour’.
We are proud of our tradition of academic excellence, reflected in consistently strong public examination results, as well as the breadth of opportunities available to students across school life. Within a safe, nurturing and values-led environment, our aim is to educate students who are confident in their Jewish identity, responsible members of modern British society, and committed to making a positive difference.
Through both their Jewish and secular experiences, JFS students are encouraged to bring light and honour to those around them. Values such as Chesed, Kehillah and responsibility sit at the heart of school life, shaping the way students learn, speak, behave and contribute to others.
At JFS, we believe that education is not only about success in the classroom, but about developing character and a sense of purpose. Through acts of giving and Tikkun Olam, our students are encouraged to use their talents to strengthen their community and the wider world.
Brampton Manor Academy is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school and we serve a rich and culturally diverse community in East Ham, close to London City Airport and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park situated in Stratford.
