JC Kenyon Engineering was established in 1995 to provide structural engineering consulting services to the western Canadian marketplace. Through Regina, Saskatoon and Winnipeg offices, we provide consulting services and structural engineering design to major architectural firms, corporations, developers and contractors throughout Saskatchewan and beyond. Our personnel have extensive experience in the design and delivery of building structures including the recently completed $250M Mosaic Stadium in Regina and the $150M River Landing Development in Saskatoon. SERVICES Structural design of buildings & structures: • For architects, design-build contractors, public agencies, developers, project managers. • Office Buildings, health care facilities, parking structures, schools, performing arts centers, museums, industrial buildings, and other related structures. • Three-dimensional finite element modeling. Production with Revit systems. Restoration & upgrading of existing structures: • Repairs to delaminated, corroded and freeze-thaw damaged concrete structures. • Repairs to deteriorated post-tensioned structures. • Modifications to existing structures relating to deficiencies with respect to the NBC code and modernization. Building Assessments: • Pre-sale evaluations of building structural systems. • Review of existing structures to accommodate changes in floor loads. • Feasibility studies of buildings with respect to proposed renovations and modifications. Monitoring & assessment of post-tensioned structures: • 24 hour remote acoustic monitoring of post-tensioning with Pure Technologies. • Preparation of performance reports. • Preparation of repair and maintenance programs. Investigations & reports on structural failures: • Forensic structural investigations for insurance claims including fires. • Determinations of point and mechanism failure. • Preparation of construction documents and strategies for repair or replacement.
