Jazz Dock Competitors

The biggest cultural event in the Czech Republic, making modern art and new technologies accessible to both the general public and specialists. Over the four evenings of the festival, prominent figures in lighting design from the Czech Republic and abroad will change the streets and public spaces of Prague, both its most famous historical landmarks and less well-known nooks and crannies, into objects d’art and spaces that use unconventional forms to capture the varied sides of contemporary and historical Prague. In the five years of its existence the festival has attracted over 2.5 millions visitors from both the Czech Republic and abroad, whose participation in interactive installations has shaped every edition. The stylish art-deco architecture of the 1920s movie theatre, the passion for music, and, the flair for art define the now legendary club, ROXY. Where else than at ROXY could you find the ambience of world class concerts, wicked dance parties, or even sponsored events. In symbiosis with the ROXY operates on the first floor also a café, gallery and theater NoD - a truly multidimensional place which transforms into many shapes.
