The “MicroHand” system was able to overcome surgeons’ hand tremor and perform high precision operation beyond human beings’ capabilities. Moreover, the system’s ability of performing precision operation was justified by animal studies as it successfully anastomosed small blood vessels (around 1mm in diameter) for a rabbit.)
