INSPIRATION: JAXX HOUND is inspired by the founder’s daily life with her dog Mo. Over the years together living in New York City she always wanted a dog bag that looked good but was also functional. Tennille searched but could never find exactly what she wanted. If it looked good, it didn't offer any storage or proper closure. If it had those features, it looked like a typical dog bag which wasn't appealing. Tennille wanted something that would be easy on the eye, and not obtrusive, so if she was out at work, meeting up with friends, or on the weekends toting Mo to brunch, the bag wasn’t an eyesore. At that moment she knew that the city dog needed a bag that offered both style and function and that’s how JAXX HOUND was created. CRAFTSMANSHIP: JAXX HOUND bags seamlessly integrate into travel with your hound. Our bags are timeless, made of premium materials and have several game-changing built-in features that we know all dog lovers will appreciate. The exterior of our bags is crafted from soft canvas and buttery leather. The interior is made out of a washable/waterproof microfiber and durable mesh that allows proper ventilation. JAXX HOUND bags have an integrated poop bag dispenser! We’re huge advocates for keeping manufacturing local. All of our bags and accessories are designed and made here in the US, right across the river in Union City, NJ. GIVING BACK: When you buy a JAXX HOUND bag, you’re giving your dog a secure, cozy bag but beyond that, you’re also giving back and helping other dogs in need. A portion of every bag sold will be donated to Animal Haven. Founded in 1967, Animal Haven is a non-profit organization that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the New York area.
