JASWRITES is the social portfolio for traditional and brand journalist Jennifer Smith. Publishing local political, art and news content by day, and real estate, wine and business content by night, Jennifer worked her way around BC… and eventually into the outdoor industry. My work initially appeared appeared in community newspapers and niche publications like Wine Trails Magazine, Country Life in BC or Okanagan Home. I then produced content for organizations like the Okanagan College Foundation, Kelowna Art Gallery, and Kelowna General Hospital Foundation, launching into business writing and social media content. Now a copywriter for the outdoor and action sport industries, I love working on anything to do with bikes, mountains and those knee-wobbling moments where you can't bear to watch or look away.
