My specialty is to help teams develop and maintain web-based software systems that can easily but securely be adapted to any future changes, making them a stable foundation for a successful business. Most software systems start small and simple, but can grow quite large as they mature. Often they gradually become more complex and harder to change, over time development-cost increases and growth stagnates. Mitigating this trend is my forte, whether it's working on something new or to turn the tide on existing ("legacy") systems. Software itself is just one side of the equation, the other side is the people involved. People who want a problem solved, people with the necessary expertise and resources, people who develop and maintain a solution, people who use it, and more. A very diverse group of individuals who need to be on the same page in order to achieve success. My aim is to stimulate a safe environment and to facilitate smooth collaboration on all fronts. In short, with an "agile" approach, I can take on the roles of developer, architect, technical/team-lead and mentor in the areas of Backend (PHP), DevOps (Ansible, K8S) and Frontend (JS).
