Jana Urban Services for Transformation Pvt. Ltd. (JUST) is a fee-for-service company set up to provide a host of financial inclusion services to operating companies within the Jana Group. These services cover Financial Advisory, Advanced Customer and Spatial Analytics, Community Recruitment/Engagement and Field Survey Capabilities. JUST is a 100% owned subsidiary of Jana Urban Foundation About Jana Group: India's cities face many challenges. These challenges can be thought of as falling into two broad categories: 1. The first set are those issues that affect all urban stakeholders – beginning with urban residents (rich, middle class or poor), and extending to enterprises (large, medium, small or micro), as well as state and civil society actors. These issues are related to how our cities are planned and governed, and they include the quality of our urban infrastructure and services, as well as our social infrastructure and cultural spaces. Today, India's cities fare poorly on all these fronts and hence each and every city stakeholder is affected. 2. Beyond these common issues, however, are a second set of challenges that affect primarily those in the lower half of the pyramid - the urban poor and lower middle class. Be it access to high-quality financial services or housing, education or healthcare, there is a large section of Urban India that does not have access to these services in the same way as the middle class or rich do. Jana Group is focused on addressing both these sets of challenges that Indian cities face, and has a variety of institutions, each focused on a specific aspect of these urban challenges.
