Based in historic Rosedale in downtown Toronto, Jamie MacLean Design is a full service residential, seasonal dwelling and retail interior design firm. The firm’s design work has been featured in Canadian House & Home Magazine, Toronto Life Magazine and the Globe & Mail. Formerly a senior marketing director in the shopping centre industry, Jamie was drawn to a career with more flexibility to raise her two sons. Born with an eye for design and passion for heritage architecture, Jamie’s true calling had always been creating beautiful interiors. As her boys grew, Jamie enrolled full time in interior design school and opened Jamie MacLean Design in 2020. One of her early projects was a remodeling and renovation of a heritage home in Cabbagetown in downtown Toronto. Jamie oversaw the project entirely from interior architecture to tile selection, cabinetry design to artwork. Named “a masterpiece” laundry room by Publisher Lynda Reeves, the project’s standout interior design continues to grow viral on Pinterest®. Jamie’s style is best described as new-traditional, using formal methods and classic motifs in new ways with beautiful colour palettes and unexpected twists. The firm is deeply rooted in focusing on each client’s needs and unique tastes, as well as personal service and exemplary communication to deliver warm and inviting interiors that exceed the clients’ expectations.
