It was established in 2012 with the vision of a global digital business that promotes cruelty-free lifestyles and raises awareness of mental health initiatives for young people. And because of the founder's long-held passion for pursuing the criticality of ubiquitous broadband and broadband-enabled infrastructure to drive the digital future - the business also aspires to be a leader in utilising the opportunities for growth in the digital global world. When the business started, the only alternative leather fabric was polyurethane created using chemicals. Great animal-friendly. Not great environment-friendly. Since then technology has developed environmentally friendly leather alternatives and James&Co is the leader in adapting its outerwear products to these sustainable fabrics. We only tailor our products in plantbased plastic free textiles and MIRUM® plantbased alternative leather is the one to which we are transitioning all our vegan leather products. James&Co retails globally through its website and other channels. We are focussed on growing our wholesale business and being a sustainable supplier to leading businesses. James&Co is a corporate sponsor of Lifeline Australia and 5% of each product sale is donated to suicide prevention organisations in Australia, US and the UK. We are also a corporate support of PETA and the 10% reduction given to a customer who uses the Discount Code PETA is donated back to PETA. We believe in supply chain transparency and our manufacturer works to our Supplier Code of Conduct. We also have a Sustainability Policy setting out our environmental and social accountabilities.
