The Group was conceived in 1998 by Salum Khamis Salum. Now being one of the leading economic forces in Tanzania, we understand that safe clean drinking water, defines civilisation. Our vision: To be a conglomerate that stretches across Africa whilst providing high quality manufacturing goods and services, has given birth to a variety of sub-divisions operating in several key business sectors. 1. JAMBO FOOD PRODUCTS: Established in 2011, the division produces over 24 types of juices, water and Carbonated soft drink products from its hub in Shinyanga. 2. JAMBO PETROLEUM: Engages in purchasing and distribution of Petroleum products within Tanzania. The company has a depot in Shinyanga region and 10 petrol stations within the Lake Zone region, with 13 tankers in its fleet. 3. JAMBO CARGO TANSPORT: Established in 2005 and operating a large truck fleet, this entity largely employs its services in the collection and distribution of the other divisions' products within the East Africa region. 4. JAMBO SPINNING MILLS: A yarn manufacturing company located in Arusha, Tanzania. Incorporated in 2005, it commenced operations in 2008 after being officially inaugurated by former President of the United Republic of Tanzania, his Excelllency, Hon. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete. Operating with 13,000 spindles, 85 percent of its yarn is exported to China while remaining 15 percent is sold to local textile companies. WE WELCOME YOU ALL TO OUR "JAMUKAYA" WORLD.
