For over 20 years, the Sikh Coalition has defended Sikh civil liberties in the courtroom, classroom, community and halls of Congress. Whether it’s working to secure safer schools, prevent hate and discrimination, create equal employment opportunities, or empower local Sikh communities, the Sikh Coalition’s goal is working towards a world where Sikhs, and other religious minorities in America, may freely practice their faith without bias and discrimination. We pursue our mission by: - Providing direct legal services to persons whose civil or human rights are violated - Advocating for law and policies that are respectful of fundamental rights - Promoting appreciation for diversity through education - Fostering civic engagement in order to promote local community empowerment The Sikh Coalition is a national community-based organization with offices and staff in New York City, California (Bay Area and Los Angeles), Washington D.C. and Chicago with over one hundred volunteer community advocates working to protect Sikh civil rights across the United States. The Sikh Coalition is a nonprofit and nonpartisan. Our funding comes from grants from private foundations and individual donors. We receive no funding from any government agencies or institutions.

UNITED SIKHS is a UN-affiliated international non-profit organization dedicated to human development, disaster relief, and the empowerment of underserved communities worldwide. Rooted in the Sikh principle of seva (selfless service), we serve all humanity regardless of background, faith, or nationality. Founded in 1999 by a group of passionate Sikh professionals in New York, our journey began with a focus on uplifting immigrant communities in Queens. Since then, UNITED SIKHS has grown into a global grassroots movement with active chapters across North America, Europe, and Asia. Our mission is to transform, uplift, and protect the lives of individuals and communities impacted by natural or man-made crises. Through humanitarian aid, legal advocacy, health outreach, and education, we strive to create just, inclusive, and resilient societies. We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within our teams and among those we serve. At UNITED SIKHS, we believe that real change begins when socially conscious individuals come together to lead with compassion and purpose.

HAF advances the understanding of Hinduism to secure the rights and dignity of Hindu Americans now and for generations to come. We do this by providing: • accurate and engaging educational resources about Hinduism and Hindu Americans • impactful trainings, advocacy and services that protect and promote religious liberty, free expression, equality and justice • critical and creative programs empowering Hindu Americans to sustain their culture and identity HAF is politically agnostic and non-partisan, meaning we’re informed, but do not favor and cannot endorse any one political party or any candidates. We will work with all individuals and institutions who embrace integrity and reason and are constructively engaged in promoting dignity, freedom, equality and justice. HAF is not affiliated with any religious or political organizations or entities. HAF seeks to serve Hindu Americans across all sampradaya (Hindu religious traditions) regardless of race, color, national origin, ethnicity, ancestry, citizenship, gender, sexual orientation, age and/or disability. Our positions are based on a relentless pursuit of facts; deep consideration of Hindu principles and American values, such as pluralism, freedom, equality, and justice; and the input of subject matter experts. If we like a policy, we’ll say so, and rigorously substantiate our position.
