Jalie is a mother-daughter company based in Saint-Romuald, near Quebec City, Canada. The company was founded by Jeanne Binet (JA) in 1983 and her daughter Emilie (LIE) joined her full-time in 2005. Jalie started with jogging suits, swimwear and other patterns for knits that you could sew without a serger. Thirty years later, we like to say that we specialize in everything other companies won't tackle: multi-sizing that includes both children and adult sizes, patterns for knits, activewear / sportswear patterns, . All our patterns are fitted on real people, not mannequins and sew all our prototypes with a home sewing machine, not industrial. We want to make sure that you will be able to recreate everything we make without breaking needles.
