Jade Plastics was founded in 1976 by Jack Holland, father of the current President Steve and Vice President Lee Holland. Jack was a machinist, a mechanical engineer, and a pioneer in the plastics industry who recognized the potential of the new filled PTFE materials that were just coming onto the market in those post-WWII years. Jack worked on developing profiles of the new materials, designed tools for their fabrication, improved production methods, pioneered improved auto-molding techniques and formed close alliances with the resin suppliers whose materials, like Teflon, would go on to be household names. What drove the company from the beginning and still does was Jack's straightforward philosophy:To strive for a combination of total quality, continuous improvement and outstanding customer service resulting in unmatched customer satisfaction. By sticking with that philosophy, Jade has grown far beyond its modest beginnings. Today, Jade Engineered Plastics is an ISO 9001:2008-certified, state-of-the art manufacturer of high-quality, precision-engineered fluoropolymer products. Through nearly four decades and three generations, we've honed our technical expertise, invested in our highly-skilled employees and in the finest production equipment, maintained the highest levels of quality control at every step of our process to give our customers outstanding products and superior service they want and need.
