Our practice is mature, having sustained steady growth since being established in 1978 as GPR Planners Collaborative, Inc. Today, we are the Laboratory Planning Practice of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. with offices in New York, California and New Jersey. Jacobs Consultancy (JCI) has planned and designed more than 800 laboratory facilities, totaling over 160,000,000 square feet, for institutional, corporate, and governmental clientele. Our professionals possess diverse backgrounds in architecture, planning, and science and are expert team collaborators who know how to bring their deep portfolios of lab planning expertise to the full benefit of each project.
