The Dublin City School District consists of 47 square miles and parts of Columbus, Hilliard, Upper Arlington, Delaware County, and Union County. Contrary to a popular notion, the boundaries of the Dublin School district extend far outside the city of Dublin. In fact, more than 40% of our students live outside the city of Dublin. The District remains committed to the dual goals of excellence and equity. The Mission of the Olentangy Local School District is to facilitate maximum learning for every student. The District is highly regarded statewide for its academic excellence. We are consistently in the top rankings of US News and World Report, our four-year graduation rate is 98.3% and we received an “A” on gap closing on the State Report Card. Our students have the ability to participate in 25 AP courses, robust elective offerings, gifted services for qualified students grades 3-12 and a comprehensive professional development program. Extracurricular programs—from athletics to the arts—are also recognized for achievement. Our district encompasses 95 square miles, seven townships, five cities and two counties. More than 21,000 students attend our schools, making our population larger than Miami University. We employ 2,500 people and operate 26 schools; 4 high schools, 5 middle schools, and 15 elementary schools. We also support OASIS, Olentangy Academy and Olentangy Preschool.
