J. Schwartz Design (JSD) partners with clients to create timeless, tasteful personal spaces. Starting with the architecture of the space, we incorporate furnishings and finishes of proper proportion, scale, color and texture. Comfort is companion to style, never secondary to it. JSD founder, Jeff Schwartz, has lived in greater Boston for over 25 years. A graduate of Brown and Harvard Universities, Jeff holds the Certificate of Decorative Arts from the Boston Architectural Center. He serves as Vice President, IFDA New England and is a Director of the Newton Historical Society. His home has been featured on the Newton House Tour. He is a Governor of the Copley Society of Art, America’s oldest artist owned and operated Gallery. JSD has hosted celebrated architect/ author Sara Susanka at the Harvard Faculty Club. Jeff and his work have been featured in the local and national press, including: NECN's "New England Dream House,” The Boston Globe, and Women’s Day Kitchens and Baths.
