IVAR Studios Information

IVAR Studios turns research and cultural heritage into experiences people can step inside. We are an immersive studio in Stockholm, founded in 2016 by brothers Fredrik and Martin Edström. We work with museums, heritage sites, research groups and science centres who hold important knowledge and want more people to feel it, not just read it. What we make: • field.tours: AI-guided tours inside 3D scans of real places and objects. The guide answers only from the site’s own sources, in Swedish and English, in the browser, on a touch screen or in VR. • Fulldome films and installations for planetariums and dome theatres • XR and 360° experiences for exhibitions, schools and visitor centres. How we work: we start with the researchers and curators who know the subject best, ask a lot of questions, and build the story around their sources. We handle the whole chain, from idea and funding application to capture, production and installation. Have a place, a collection, 3D scans or research that deserves a bigger audience?
