ITHOA Information

Indian Trails is located in beautiful Palm Harbor, Florida, not far from the Gulf of Mexico. The subdivision was first established in 1978 and now consists of 148 homes. Indian Trails is a deed restricted community that has certain rules and regulations that must be adhered to by all homeowners. Indian Trails is governed by a homeowners association, ITHOA, Inc., and membership is mandatory for each owner. Each year, in January, a board of directors is chosen from among the homeowners to represent the membership at regularly established board meetings. The board of directors elects its officers and appoints committee heads. Committee heads appoint their members subject to the approval of the board. Dues to support the mission of the association are payable the first of January in each calendar year. Currently dues are $227.00 per annum. Each homeowner is required to pay the dues without exception. Estoppel certificates may be obtained from the authorized agent for ITHOA, Inc., corporation and filed with the Secretary of State in 1983; and Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation by the vote required; The name of this corporation is: ITHOA, INC. the operation and management of the Indian Trails Subdivision, according to the Plat recorded in Plat Book 78, Pages 43 and 44, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida; and Indian Trails Addition, according to the Plat recorded in Plat Book 73, Pages 40 and 41, Public Records of improving the property values and the conditions in such Subdivisions, and otherwise carrying on for profit, and nothing in these Articles of Incorporation or in the By-Laws shall authorize the Corporation to, and the Corporation shall not enter into any transaction, carry on any activity, or engage in any business for pecuniary profit, and any income received by the Corporation shall be applied exclusively to the not-for- profit purpose and objectives of the Corporation as set forth herein, and no part thereof shall ever inure to the benefit of any private member or individual.
