We are a global nonprofit bridging the gap in access to essential surgeries and health care, starting with cleft surgery and comprehensive care. We provide medical expertise, training, research and care through our staff, volunteers and students, working alongside governments, nonprofits and health systems.

For over 36 years, Reach for a Dream Foundation has been dedicated to alleviating the strain that life-threatening illnesses placed on sick children and their families by providing dreamers with the opportunity to believe in their greatest wish. Our mission is to encourage children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses and inspire hope. We bring joy and laughter to their difficult situation and help them believe that tomorrow is worth fighting for. These children are between the ages of 3 to 18 years. They have used their dream to fight illnesses such as cancer, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, kidney failure, blood disorders and heart conditions.

Ubuntu Pathways (formerly Ubuntu Education Fund) is a nonprofit organization that provides an integrated support system of health, education, and social support in the townships of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Ubuntu Pathways breaks the cycle of poverty by providing South Africa's most vulnerable children with what all children deserve—everything, every day. Founded in 1999 by Jacob Lief and Malizole “Banks” Gwaxula, Ubuntu Pathways has become an internationally-recognized model for development. Our impact is made possible by trusting those closest to the problem to create the solution. Today, 95% of the team at the Ubuntu Campus in Port Elizabeth, South Africa comes from the community we serve. These staff members are leaders in their community, driving the vision of one of the most innovative organizations on the continent.
