At Jacob’s Pillow, our mission is to support dance creation, presentation, education, and preservation; and to engage and deepen public appreciation and support for dance. As a National Historic Landmark and recipient of the National Medal of Arts, we are honored to be home to America's longest-running international dance festival. Our Festival showcases over 50 national and international dance companies, offering more than 350 free and ticketed performances, talks, tours, classes, exhibits, events, and community programs. The School at Jacob’s Pillow stands as one of the most prestigious professional dance training centers in the U.S, providing invaluable professional advancement opportunities in arts administration, design, video, and production through seasonal internships. We are deeply committed to our local community, engaging with it through our growing community programs. As an active citizen and partner, the Pillow continues to make a positive impact. Our extensive Archives, accessible year-round to the public and online at danceinteractive.jacobspillow.org, are a treasure trove, chronicling more than a century of dance history through photographs, programs, books, costumes, audiotapes, and videos.

As distinctive and dynamic as the city it calls home, Ballet Austin welcomes people near and far to participate in its "classically innovative" vision for the democratization of dance. From their bustling, urban headquarters at the Butler Dance Education Center and Community School in downtown Austin, Ballet Austin and artistic director Stephen Mills actively engage the community, dancers, and audiences alike. With a rich history spanning 54 years, a commitment to education as well as lifelong fitness, and acclaimed productions in Austin and across the nation, the organization is equally committed to the international craft of dance as it is to the community it serves. The New York Times proclaims Ballet Austin "a company with big ambitions" originating work that is "absorbing."

Since 1963, Cincinnati Ballet has been the cornerstone professional ballet company of the region, presenting a bold and adventurous array of classical, full-length ballets and contemporary works, regularly with live orchestral accompaniment. Under the artistic direction of Victoria Morgan, Cincinnati Ballet has become a creative force within the larger dance community, commissioning world premiere works and exploring unique collaborations with artists as diverse as Grammy winning guitarist Peter Frampton and popular, Ohio-based band Over the Rhine. With a mission to inspire hope and joy in our community and beyond through the power and passion of dance, Cincinnati Ballet reaches beyond the stage in programs that allow every person in the region to be part of the continued evolution of dance. To that end, Cincinnati Ballet presents exhilarating performances, extensive education and engagement programs and offers top level professional ballet training at Cincinnati Ballet Otto M.
