İtek was founded in 2019, however, its roots lie deep in the bicycle industry. The owners have been active in the cycling world since 1976, and wanted to carry over their decades of experience into a brave new world of electric bicycles. The company is situated strategically in Izmir, Turkey and exports almost exclusively to the European market. Itek sets its vision to be the biggest electric bicycle exporter in Turkey, by addressing the needs of the whole spectrum of cyclists in Europe.
