By becoming a WWOOF member, you’ll actively contribute to the global ecological movement while supporting farmers who nourish their communities. WWOOF offers the opportunity to travel the world, connect with local communities, and discover alternative ways of living that are rooted in sustainability. Since its inception in 1971, WWOOF has connected over 100,000 volunteers with more than 12,000 host farms across 130 countries, promoting a more socially and environmentally sustainable world. As a decentralized nonprofit network, WWOOF is made up of locally based organizations whose staff understand the unique cultures, languages, and communities they serve.
