ISOVOLTAIC AG is the world market and technology leader in the development and production of backsheets for photovoltaic modules. The tried and proven ICOSOLAR® backsheets on the basis of polyamide and fluoro polymere as well as other trendsetting film technologies are meeting or even surpassing industry standards (IEC, UL, TUV). They provide lasting protection for solar cells against mechanical and chemical influences and the effects of the weather and they ensure that sunlight can be efficiently converted into usable energy over a long period of time. Every ICOSOLAR® backsheet is tested by strict and comprehensive material testing, whereas standards we set for ICOSOLAR® are higher than official industry standards. Since 2011 ISOVOLTAIC offers its backsheets combined with a layer of thermoplastic encapsulating material that shows improved features compared to other encapsulating materials and replaces them completely. The technology leadership of ISOVOLTAIC AG is based on intensive internal research and development activities as well as strategic cooperation with regional and international partners. Product development proceeds in close conjunction and coordination with the customer.
