Founded on December 11, 1961, IIMA quickly assumed leadership in management education in India and has maintained it ever since. It has grown into India's favorite management school. The same agency ranked IIMA’s Post-Graduate Programme for Executives (PGPX-for students with work experience) 11th globally among MBA programmes in 2011. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, the second IIT to be set up in 1958, is recognised worldwide as a leader in the field of engineering education and research.
