Launched in January 2019, Knife Aid is an innovative mail-in knife sharpening service that provides customers with an easy, fast and reliable way to professionally sharpen their knives and restore them to a condition better than new. We have taken the craft of knife sharpening online, modernized it and made it accessible for everyone in the States. We attract home cooks, professional chefs and outdoor enthusiasts. Knife Aid’s vision is to offer the fastest, the most convenient and reliable knife sharpening service in America. In just a few simple steps, we have streamlined the process for the customer by providing a pre-paid envelope that contains all the materials needed to ship their knives to our workshop. The knives are hand sharpened by our knife smiths using different sharpening techniques taking into consideration the unique features and varying angle requirements of every knife. Every package is trackable and insured so the customer can feel confident their knives are in safe hands.

Drop off your knives, scissors and garden tools at local Maine agents or stop by a farmers market to have them sharpened on the spot.
