Celebrating 20 years of Highland tours and expeditions in Iceland Ísafold Travel is a licensed tour operator and destination management company in Iceland, founded in 1997. With our 20th anniversary coming up in 2017 we are committed to continue to provide unforgettable Highland tours in Iceland, for groups and individual travellers. During the past two decades we had the privilege to explore in detail the beautiful nature of Iceland, taking away valuable lessons on how to operate tours in the Icelandic Highlands. We have built a network of hundreds of service providers including expert guides, we have trained our own staff in the field, set up base camps in the Highlands and acquired the largest fleet of Land Rover Defenders in Iceland, all of which enables us to operate tours to all corners of Iceland, all year round.  If you wish to experience the best hidden, hard-to-reach places in Iceland, we will get you there! Isafold Travel trades as a fully licensed  Travel Agency under Icelandic legislation and is a member of the Icelandic Travel Industry Association. Ísafold Travel is also a Vakinn member, the official quality management system for tourism in Iceland. We are certified by Vakinn as a travel service and have also acquired the bronze environmental certification.
