ISACA Sofia Chapter Information

ISACA was incorporated in 1969 by a small group of individuals who recognized a need for a centralized source of information and guidance in the growing field of auditing controls for computer systems. Today, ISACA serves 140,000 professionals in 180 countries. ISACA is a nonprofit, independent association that advocates for professionals involved in information security, assurance, risk management and governance. ISACA Sofia Chapter was founded in 2007 and was registered under the Bulgarian legislation as a non-profit organization. We, ISACA Sofia Chapter, take initiative in training's on topics that interest our members. The membership in one of the 200 ISACA Chapters in more than 180 countries gives you immediate connection with professionals with similar interests, duties and occupation. Events, co-organized by ISACA Sofia Chapter attract respected professionals and allow you to keep up with the latest news. We also try to organize a meeting of the Chapter every three months. There we discuss topics that are interesting for and agreed upon by the members beforehand. After the formal meeting comes a time for informal conversations and sharing of professional experience and ideas. ISACA Sofia Chapter has over 150 members who come from a wide cross-section of business including the accountancy and information systems professions, local government, banking, manufacturing and service sectors.
