ISACA Ottawa Chapter Information

The Ottawa Valley Chapter of ISACA, established in 1978, is one of ten Canadian ISACA Chapters. Our Chapter is comprised of a progressive group of professionals and practitioners who are active in IM/IT governance, IT Security Management, and IT Auditing. Our members include executives, managers, subject-area experts, consultants and auditors in large, medium, and small enterprises. Our Chapter membership spans the federal public service, the high-technology cadre of "Silicon Valley North", and the professional services sector. One of our Chapter's key activities is the organization of training and educational events for our membership. We engage local experts to speak to our members on topics of current and regional interest and rely on industry professionals to provide training on new IT governance, control, security and assurance issues and techniques. These speakers often donate their time which helps us provide important networking and learning opportunities at reasonable rates.
