ISA NUM - Computer Science Engineering Degree Information

ISA NUM is a new public IT engineering training program accredited by the CTI and hosted by the engineering school Institut Supérieur Aquitain of the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), which will open its doors in Anglet at the beginning of the 2024 academic year. It aims to train about 35 computer engineers each year in the specialties of software engineering, data and AI engineering, and information technology engineering. The degree aims to train specialized engineers able to carry out collective projects involving multidisciplinary teams, responding to the needs of digital transformation and taking into account ethics and the environmental and energy impact of digital solutions, as well as issues related to guarantees of reliability, security and acceptability of solutions. Although this is a new study program, the pedagogical team specialized in Computer Science has been operating for several years at UPPA's Basque Coast campus, offering other programs in this field at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. In addition, the original pedagogical architecture takes up the strengths of the ISA BTP: 1- specialization from the first year ; 2- professional training and privileged relations with companies (internships in the first 2 years followed by a dual professional training program in the engineering cycle); 3- trilingual training - French/English/Spanish. Other characteristics reinforce its strong identity: 4- A recruitment based on a developed and consolidated career plan, 5- A school on a human scale, 6- Shared values of tolerance, respect and solidarity.
