Irish Universities Quality Board (IUQB) Information

The Irish Universities Quality Board has been established to support and promote a culture of quality in Irish higher education and independently evaluate the effectiveness of quality processes in Irish universities. Since its inception, it has established itself as an important voice both nationally and internationally in the area of quality assurance. IUQB is funded by subscriptions from the seven Irish universities and an annual grant from the Higher Education Authority through the National Development Plan (2007-2013). IUQB were accepted onto the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) in October 2009 IUQB is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance (ENQA) in Higher Education.
