iRARP Information

iRARP (intelligent Robot-Assisted Radical Prostatectomy) aims to standardize and improve robotic prostate surgery outcomes by applying digital technologies and developing a surgery planning tool akin to a pilot's flight plan. iRARP is based in Brussels, Belgium. To do so, this tool will integrate state-of-the-art research into a User eXperience-centric software solution requiring minimal intervention from the surgeon that provides adapted output to all those involved: patient, general practitioner, surgeon. iRARP' founders count amongst others * Prof Alex Mottrie, Head of the Urology department of the OLV Hospital in Aalst, Belgium * the Orsi Academy, a unique center for surgical innovation and expertise in minimally invasive surgery located in Melle, Belgium * the e-Health Venture, a Start-up studio & incubator, helping to shape the next wave of healthcare innovation situated in Brussels, Belgium
