The Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) is an online Human Resources system maximizing Soldier talent through integrated personnel and pay data in a single system for all Army Components for the first time ever. IPPS-A will modernize how the Army does business by transforming industrial age personnel systems to 21st century talent and data-driven capabilities. IPPS-A will manage Total Force talent and data to enhance readiness by maximize the potential of the Army’s greatest asset, the Soldier. IPPS-A provides three capabilities: Total Force Visibility, Managing Talent and Data, and Auditability. It will improve access, timeliness and accuracy (auditability) of personnel and pay information for the Total Army – integrating more than 30 current systems; eliminating more than 300 interfaces; ensuring secure, consistent processes and data; and meeting required standards.
