Everyones Internet® was born of humble beginnings on October 6, 1998 in Houston, Texas. Founded by Robert Marsh, Roy Marsh III, and Randy Williams, EV1® began commercial operations on December 1, 1998. With a very modest investment, the partners worked to build a world class infrastructure and foundation that would allow substantial growth over the years and provide a high quality of service. Early on, value became a key focus and a way to differentiate our service from the competition. Early in 1999, the "Just $10 Bucks" promotion was introduced. Due to the tremendous success of that promotion, it became a fixture of our marketing and later became our standard offering. With success in the Houston area, expansion into Austin, San Antonio, and the DFW area began later that year with expansion into the California market coming in early 2000. Over the course of 2000, we also began to offer service in several other cities throughout the country. It was not, however, until late 2002 that EV1® began the nationwide expansion and , as of September 2002, serves 42 states in the USA. It is not only the areas that we server that sets EV1® apart, but it is also the service offering, We offer unlimited usage, unlimited family email accounts, 300 megabytes of web space, a host of easy to use web based services, and much more. In fact, during 2001, EV1® introduced email virus filtering and SPAM filtering options at NO EXTRA COST.
