IoD Natural Resources Group Information

Welcome to the Institute of Directors Natural Resources Special Interest Group (IoD NR SIG), founded in June 2023 by Juan Cabrera. This group is dedicated to establishing connections, promoting knowledge sharing, and encouraging innovation among directors and leaders in the natural resources sector. Our objective is to embody the three IoD pillars: Connect, Influence, and Develop. Whether your focus is water, minerals, mining, forestry, fisheries, agriculture or energy resources, we offer an interactive forum to share experiences, stay updated with the latest industry trends, and improve your operational practices. This platform enables IoD members from British and international companies across diverse sectors to connect with industry experts and stakeholders, fostering business opportunities and collaborations. In addition, our SIG is actively collaborating with the IoD Policy Team, advocating for the interests of our members in key decision-making bodies. We ensure that the views and concerns of stakeholders are represented in government, adding an influential voice to significant issues.
