Investors Capital Group (ICG) is a private real estate investment group providing accredited investors with attractive investment opportunities. ICG has a portfolio of more than 6,000 apartment units. We own these projects in various partnerships, joint ventures and LLCs with both individual and institutional investors. We focus primarily on apartments. By design, most of our investments are between $10 million and $30 million, primarily in the Western United States. Our experienced team is able to effectively manage and add value to investments. ICG is well positioned for the future. With a solid foundation of experience, expertise and successful investments, we are actively seeking new properties that meet our high standards and new investors to join our community. ICG has purchased over 75 apartment projects with a value of nearly $1 billion. Over 40 of these projects have gone full circle on their business plan and have been sold. In 2001, the partners of HSC formed Investors Capital Group (ICG) to focus on investing in apartments. Ward Murphy joined the team as director of investor relations and Jim McCullough came onboard as a senior analyst and debt specialist. In the early- and mid- 2000s, ICG purchased several thousand apartments in a variety of partnerships, with attractive returns for investors. ICG’s history traces its roots back to 1989 when Mick Halpin, Walt Smith and Mike Christian founded HSC Real Estate, an apartment management company headquartered in Seattle. As HSC grew, Pål Ottesen and Steve Davis became partners in the firm. Over time, HSC became a respected regional leader in apartment management.
