INTO SCHOOL Information

INTO SCHOOL is a unique, award-winning Finnish education concept & a complete teacher training package with the global goal of having technology- supported creative learning as an integral part of K-12 education. We link modern technology with the world of education, and build upon the best pedagogical practices available. The holistic, cross-curricular and phenomenon based learning approach creates opportunities for more versatile future education in diverse learning environments. INTO SCHOOL is developed by an award-winning composer and producer team made up by Finnish experts in education, music and technology. The concept was originally launched in 2017 at EDUCA fair in Helsinki together with Sanni Grahn-Laasonen, the Minister of Education in Finland. At INTO SCHOOL we are, at heart, good friends with a shared passion for education and creativity. INTO SCHOOL aims to demolish the unhealthy idea of creativity being limited to a lucky few who are born with it. Instead, to replace it with a demonstrable fact: creativity is a muscle we all possess, that gets stronger and better the more we exercise it! A music-focused preschool was the next logical step of the INTO SCHOOL enterprise and one that we considered from the outset. The idea often came up in internal discussions and we found that clients and other partners frequently asked if we had any such plans. In January 2021, the first INTO SCHOOL opened its doors in Lauttasaari, Helsinki, welcoming our first preschoolers to personal development opportunities as limitless as the horizon of our sea view. In January 2024, the story continues when the new and exciting INTO SCHOOL Herttoniemi opens its doors in Kauppakeskus Hertsi in Helsinki, Finland!
