Food Safety & Quality Control Food safety is our highest priority. We are Safe Quality Foods (SQF) certified and our operating procedures are aligned with the Foods Safety Modernization Act (FSMA). With extensive experience in the food industry, our quality assurance team maintains a multi-layered system of processes to protect your product integrity even prior to entering our door. Every blend is tested against blend samples before and during every production run and detailed documentation provides full batch traceability. Ingredients are documented according to lot number, date, and product number and strategically stored according to allergen characteristics and protective requirements. All ingredients are pulled according to FIFO (first-in-first-out) sequencing for blending staging. Production testing includes vacuum checks on bags and pouches, lid seals, date code printing, lot code printing, peel tests, weight checks, metal detection, salinity, moisture, and PH. Certifications We are certified to meet safe processing requirements for: Biodynamic Costco Addendum Fair trade FSMA food products Gluten-free Kosher Non-GMO Organic Sam’s Club SQF We are certified by QAI (Quality Assurance Institute) for organic food processing. We also follow kosher rules, regulations, processes, and procedures and allow our customers to choose the kosher certification agency that best meets their needs.
