La Fundación del Festival Internacional de Cine de Panamá, Fundación IFF Panamá, es una organización sin fines de lucro creada con la finalidad de apoyar la realización del Festival Internacional de Cine de Panamá y apuntalar las actividades culturales y educativas que se llevan a cabo como parte integral de cada edición. IFF Panamá existe gracias a la inmensa pasión que siente el público panameño hacia el cine. We are committed to helping express the unique, genuine, and colorful flavor Central American and Caribbean cinema is bringing to the table. Our work-in-progress section, Primera Mirada, highlights these films for industry insiders and members of the press – offering an exclusive “first look” at some of this year’s most exciting Latin American productions. Primera Mirada offers economic funds for the completion of the post-production process of the winning project. IFF Panama’s relationship with the Marché du Film de Cannes provides the ideal international platform to share the power of new cinema with the world.
