International Berean Ministries was founded in 1996 as a missions organization to support work being done in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Today, the ministry's work involves evangelism; vocational training for pastoral ministry, animal husbandry, masonry, carpentry, and agriculture; and K-12 education through two Christian schools. The work primarily takes place in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This region contains its two schools, one in the city of Bukavu and another in the village of Kitindi, as well as its Center for Human Flourishing, also located in Kitindi.
