Australian owned and operated company INTERMETALLIX based in Mudgee NSW, is a driven organisation for exploring cost saving initiatives in component surface enhancements, manufacturing and equipment repairs for the resource sector and beyond. INTERMETALLIX is the result of the successful venture to diversify outside of the currently offered services of J R DARMODY PTY LTD (JRD)-Boilermakers for the Mining & Earthmoving Industry that was established in 2010. The re-branding creates a new image to represent our progression into Plasma Transferred Arc technology. Our success in earthmoving equipment structural repairs, fabrications and wear management has developed the business into an evolving organisation, seeking progression through new developments in technology, innovation and opportunities to expand into new industries. INTERMETALLIX is the chosen label that will represent the company's new competitive edge following the purchase of our first Plasma Transfer Arc (PTA) equipment, commissioned in January 2015. Due to the success and rapid growth of the PTA services we have now implemented our fully automated system.
