JK Cement Ltd is one of India’s leading manufacturers of Grey Cement and the third largest White Cement manufacturer in the World. JK Cement’s operations commenced with commercial production at its flagship grey cement unit at Nimbahera, Rajasthan in May 1975.
The Company has an installed Grey Cement capacity of 14.7 MnTPA as on date, making it one of the top cement manufacturers in the Country. JKCL is the No. 1 manufacturer of Wall Putty in the World and the third largest manufacturer of White Cement, globally, with a total white cement capacity of 1.20 MnTPA and wall putty capacity of 1.2MnTPA. JK White Cement is sold across 43 countries around the globe and the Company has a strong international presence with two subsidiaries, JK Cement Works Fujairah FZC and JK White Cement (Africa) Ltd.
Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) is the largest urea manufacturer in the country. It was incorporated in 1978 as a joint venture between Fauji Foundation (a leading charitable trust in Pakistan) and Haldor Topsoe A/S of Denmark.The Company is operating three world scale urea manufacturing plants with an aggregate design capacity of over 2 million metric tonnes per annum.
These three plants are located at two different sites. Additionally, FFC has stakes in the subsidiary Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (formerly FFC-Jordan Fertilizer Company Limited), Pakistan Maroc Phosphore SA (PMP) in Morocco (that meets the entire raw material requirement of FFBL's DAP production) and Fauji Cement.
FFC commenced commercial production of urea in 1982 with annual capacity of 570,000 metric tons. (Plant-I at Sadiqabad, Distt. Rahimyar Khan)
Through De-Bottle Necking (DBN) program, the production capacity of the existing Plant-I was increased to 695,000 metric tons per year.
Production capacity of Sadiqabad Plantsite was enhanced by establishing a second plant in 1993 with annual capacity of 635,000 metric tons of urea.
In the year 2002, FFC acquired ex Pak Saudi Fertilizers Limited (PSFL) Urea Plant situated at Mirpur Mathelo, District Ghotki (Currently known as Plant-III) from National Fertilizer Corporation (NFC) through privatisation process of the Government of Pakistan.
FFC also markets the entire production of FFBL under its brand name "SONA". Thus FFC's Marketing Group is the largest fertilizer marketing network in country which markets nearly 3.5 million metric tonnes of fertilizer per annum.
Founded in 1993, Lucky Cement Limited stands as the flagship company of Yunus Brothers Group (YBG). Lucky Cement is one of the largest producers and leading exporters of quality cement in Pakistan and is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). The Company has also issued Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), listed and traded on the Professional Securities Market of the London Stock Exchange and is the first Shariah Compliant Company of Pakistan certified by the SECP.
Over the years, the Company has grown substantially and is expanding its business operations with production facilities at strategic locations in Karachi to cater to the Southern regions and Pezu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to furnish the Northern areas of the Country. Lucky Cement is Pakistan’s first Company to export sizeable quantities of loose cement, being the only cement manufacturer to have its own loading and storage export terminal at Karachi Port.
Lucky Cement strives to remain an efficient and low cost producer and is one of the pioneers to introduce and install Waste Heat Recovery, Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) and Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) Plants in Pakistan. It also has self-sufficient Captive power generation facility of 180 MW and supplies additionally generated electricity to support the National grid. Lucky Cement owns a fleet of Bulkers and Trailers, which gives added advantage in terms of logistics and efficient deliveries to all types of customers spread across the length and breadth of the
