After 15 years in the furniture and antiques business Interio was formed by husband and wife partnership Marco Colacicco and Jane Barrett in 1996. Initially launching Harrison & Gil in the UK they helped the company grow into a complete home furnishings range, which went on to re-brand as Christopher Guy and becoming a much loved luxury interior brand. In 2007 Interio was appointed as sole distributor for one of the largest and finest home accent manufacturers in the USA – John Richard whose vast collection of hand-crafted interiors includes furniture, lighting, mirrors, wall art and accessories. In Autumn 2011 Interio were delighted to be appointed as the UK distributor for Dorya. Specialists in exquisite made-to-order furniture and interior furnishings, this stunning brand has a sophisticated and refined approach to design and brings a fresh look to luxury furniture for the residential and hospitality markets. January 2012 saw the launch of Interio’s own collection of unique furniture – AdVivum. Designed with the discerning customer in mind, the luxury collection boasts elegant hand-carved furnishings which are made to order and offer a wide selection of finish options. On the 1st September 2013, Interio proudly announced another wonderful addition the Interio portfolio, securing the UK Distributorship of Japanese fine furniture brand Matsuoka. Based in Japan, family-owned Matsuoka has been creating luxury hand-crafted furnishings for over 145 years. They are also renowned for their superb lacquering, leafing, gilding and hand-painting techniques. Matsuoka’s stunning designs are crafted from exotic woods, beautiful stone, stunning metal and the finest leather. In 2003 Interio took up residence in their perfectly located showroom in the heart of London’s design district – 555 Kings Road – in very close proximity to Chelsea Harbour Design Centre. Their highly trained team are available and happy to help both trade and public clients alike.
