Le Service public de Wallonie (SPW) est l'administration de la Wallonie. Il est composé du Secrétariat général, du SPW Support et du SPW Digital qui exercent des compétences transversales : communication interne et externe, coordination des fonds structurels européens, audit financier et de fonctionnement, chancellerie, géomatique, gestion du personnel, recrutement, formation, gestion des ressources humaines, affaires juridiques, informatique, informatique, gestion mobilière et immobilière... Les autres directions générales sont chargées de la gestion de matières et de compétences spécifiques, en lien direct avec les besoins et les attentes des citoyens, des entreprises, des associations et des pouvoirs locaux. Chacune des directions générales compte plusieurs départements eux-mêmes subdivisés en directions : • SPW Mobilité et Infrastructures • SPW Agriculture, Ressources naturelles et Environnement • SPW Territoire, Logement, Patrimoine et Energie • SPW Intérieur et Action sociale • SPW Economie, Emploi et Recherche • SPW Finances

About UVCW: At the local authorities' service The object of the Union of Cities and Municipalities is to represent all the local authorities of the Walloon Region in their competence. It promotes their actions and their autonomy, and thus the local democracy principle established by the Belgian Constitution and the European Charter of Local Autonomy. Its general assembly is composed of the 262 municipalities of Wallonia, all of which are members of the association. Its representativity is therefore unquestionable. It so defends efficiently local interests at all power levels: regional, community, federal and European, through tight contacts with the ministers and their advisers, the administrations and all the Members of Parliament. All the members of the association can resort to the services of the Union of Cities and Municipalities of Wallonia in all matters that concern them. Through its missions, the association is federative, working for a humane future for Wallonia. Like a forum where democracy finds its way through the mixing up of ideas, it shows solidarity, it is always in motion, which reflects its role as a union.

United Fund for Belgium (asbl/vzw) is a Belgian non-profit organization. Its mission is to help people in need in Belgium by financing projects of charity associations in Belgium. UFB's focus is solely on social projects and it finances projects. UFB supports charity associations involved in social integration, child welfare, reduction of poverty & support to handicapped persons. To fund these projects, UFB collects donations from Belgian & foreign companies established in Belgium and from caring individuals. We seek to support close to 80 different charitable associations every year. Our objective is to focus on small to midsize projects that make a difference for the charitable association and the persons they help. UFB's distinguishing characteristics are: * We distribute to the selected charities the full amount (100%) of the donations received for this purpose. This is because we cover our operational costs through special donations, proceeds from events and the income from the endowment fund (the Martin Kallen Fund) that has been created for this purpose. Redistributing 100% of donations is unique in Belgium. * We fund projects for associations in a balanced way in all regions and all provinces of the country. * UFB representatives visit every association before we finance their project to assist the association and ensure that the project is worthy and viable. The members of the Allocation Committee which selects the projects to be financed are all volunteers who have long been active in their local communities and know well the charity fabric of their local areas. UFB also helps donor companies who so wish to choose projects to which they can be associated, for instance by financing them through UFB or by involving actively their employees to support these projects.
