Intensive Support Information

Since 2012 Intensive Support has provided Non Placement Support Service's (NPSS) to Community Services. Intensive Support is currently contracted to provide Supervised Transport, Supervised Contact, Youth Worker Support and Behaviour Support to all Community Services Centre's in all Sydney regions. Our programs are designed to provide assistance to the FACS Case Manager and Carer to maintain the child's placement and help the Child and Young Person achieve results. The 'Mentor Program' is new in 2014 and engages great young Mentors to model appropriate and positive behaviour. The Mentors develop healthy and strong relationships with the Child or Young Person. Intensive Support has a 100% record of 'child in care' safety and 'occupational, health and safety. Our program staff are highly competent, have integrity and are reliable. The staff have completed the Children's Guardian 'new' working for children check. The workers all have considerable experience working with Children and Young people. Children and Young people are transported in Intensive Support vehicles or private worker cars, the vehicles are late model, reliable and are comprehensively insured. Intensive Support provides the car seats for those children under seven years of age. The Intensive Support programs are supervised by the management team for compliance and quality control. The team member provides a report at the completion of each session that is forwarded to the Case Manager.
